All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Days **The community you’ll be caring for:** _AdventHealth North Pinellas_ **The role you’ll contribute:** Perform daily cleaning using the 10-step process of assigned areas. Conduct project cleaning of walls, lights entrances, common areas, windows vents, sidewalks, etc. as assigned. Transport soiled linen and waste in accordance with department and AH NP Hospital policy and procedures as they relate to waste handling and soiled linen handling. Assist in cleanup of emergency spills as requested or observed. Perform mopping, burnishing and general floor care for carpeted and hard surfaces as assigned. Maintain areas of responsibility to the high standards set by the department, its member and AH Hospital. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by AHNP Hospital and the department. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Employee job duties may include transport of hazardous waste from the point of generation to a designated secure storage area. Employee will be required to complete initial training (prior to handling hazardous waste) and refresher training to include proper handling and transport of hazardous waste, and proper selection, use and disposal of personal protective equipment. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Demonstrate through behavior Advent Health Hospital's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program booklet. · Perform cleaning function using the 10 steps process in all assigned areas. · Demonstrates proper use of Sniper disinfecting process. · Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting to staff shortages and covering other assigned areas. · Demonstrate ability to maintain high standards set by department team members and AH Hospital. Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · High School Graduate or Equiv and 1 years experience. · One year of floor care experience preferred.
