THE JOB:

As a Utility Houseperson at Vdara, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY: $22.9734 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Clean carpet, upholstery, glass table tops, and windows; polish marble and rearrange furniture inside the guest rooms per guest requestComplete dusting of high/elevated areasPull bed out away from wall for dusting behind head boardDeliver variety of linen, including sheets, pillow cases and terry items to floors; and stock new linen in Guest Room Attendant locker roomsWork with bonnet machine, extraction, and furniture cleaning machine (CFR) to remove stains from chairs, couches, etc.Clean up bio hazard areasGeneral cleaning of guest rooms and hallwaysReport torn carpet, wall finishes, and damaged furniture to be repairedClean all removable marks, dirt, and dust from baseboardsBonnet 25 rooms and shampoo 15 rooms a dayInstall and remove air purifier/ ozone machine following all safety standards

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.Has the ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.Has 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience with maintenance on various floor surfaces using related cleaning, buffing, and extraction equipment.Has 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience in general cleaning.Is Knowledgeable of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment.Has Experience working in a similar resort setting.
