Priority Personnel is hiring a Night Utility Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. This individual will be responsible for setting up machines for production runs.

Pay rate: $17.00-18.00/hour with a .50 shift differential

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/7:00pm-7:00am

Job Duties:

Set up and prepare machines for production runs. Change and ensure rolls are installed correctly; perform minor adjustments such as changing Teflon, cleaning rollers and seal bars, and adjusting bag sizes during the production process. Ensure that bag measurements meet specified requirements and standards. Conduct seal strength testing at designated intervals and accurately record the results.

Requirements:

1 to 2 years of experience in plastics manufacturing Ability to focused on quality control processes. Bilingual preferred Maintain knowledge of films and finished products to ensure quality and efficiency. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. Ability to stand for 12 hours and work overtime as needed. Possess mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
