What We Offer:

About the Role
As a utility operator, you’ll work in a work environment where no two days are the same. Whether you’re digging trenches as a laborer, operating, performing maintenance, or engaging with customers, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operations of our natural gas systems.
Utility Operators cover a range of responsibilities, your day-to-day tasks may include:
Maintaining and repairing gas distribution systems to ensure safe operations. Assisting with the installation of new gas lines and infrastructure. Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery safely and proficiently. Engaging with customers to resolve service issues. Responding to emergencies to ensure uninterrupted gas supply. Assemble, inspect, test, and maintain gas meters and related equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.What You’ll bring:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Valid Alberta Class '5' Driver’s License with a clean driver abstract. Ability to successfully complete pre-employment testing, including background check and drug and alcohol screening. Experience in gasfitting, hydrovac, landscaping, general labor, trades, construction, mechanical, or field service work would be an asset. Physical stamina for working outdoors in all weather conditions.
