12945BRJob Description: Job Summary: This position involves performing a variety of tasks to support our operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials and equipment. The position will be responsible for multiple duties, contributing to the overall success of the production process. Key Responsibilities: + Material Handling: Apply compound and protective plastic caps to threaded pipe to prevent damage during transportation and storage. + Inspection/Labeling: Measure pipes on manufacturing floor and accurately label pipes with identifying information to maintain proper inventory and tracking. + Equipment Operation: Safely operate small mobile equipment, such as forklifts, to transport materials within the facility. + General Labor Tasks: Perform various tasks such as stacking wood for pipe rack storage, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, and assisting with other duties as assigned. + Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately. + Inventory/ Shipping & Receiving : Receive and deliver all parts and materials. Organize and manage critical spare parts in warehousing area. Ensure adequate PPE/ noncritical material levels are above safety stock amount. Shipping out couplings and protectors to customers when needed. Staging material for manufacturing lines to run. Compensation and Benefits: + Starting pay of $18.14 per hour, with opportunities for advancement up to $32.88 per hour. + Quarterly Incentive Bonus Plan. + Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, and Life Insurance. + 401K plan with company matching. + Paid vacation and 10 paid holidays. + Daily overtime pay for hours worked beyond the standard shift. Requirements: + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to work an industrial schedule, including overtime (rotating every 3 months or fixed 8-12 hour shift work, which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). Can be asked to stay later into next shift if relief calls off. + Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures/guidelines at all times. + Capability to work with and around materials that may be hot, heavy, sharp, or involve hazardous chemicals. + Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift in excess of 25 lbs. Preferred Experience: + Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction settings. + Familiarity with operating forklifts or other small mobile equipment. + 1 year of experience preferred Working Conditions: + Work is performed in an industrial environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and hazardous materials. + Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required at all times to ensure safety while performing job duties.
