We’re seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful **Rebates Specialist** to support our Sales team by identifying, tracking, and managing utility rebate programs across North America. This role involves working directly with utility companies, gathering program information, and ensuring the Sales team is informed of all relevant rebate opportunities. The specialist will also complete and submit rebate applications to help clients maximize their savings. **About Verdant:** Verdant’s smart thermostats and energy management solutions are in high demand in the hotel and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sectors. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated and fearless Lead Generator to help drive our growth by connecting with key decision-makers and booking demos for our sales team. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Rebates Specialist to support our Sales team by identifying, tracking, and managing utility rebate programs across North America. This role involves working directly with utility companies, gathering program information, and ensuring the Sales team is informed of all relevant rebate opportunities. The specialist will also complete and submit rebate applications to help clients maximize their savings. **As a Utility Program Coordinator, You Will:** + Research active utility rebate and incentive programs relevant to Verdant’s energy-efficient solutions. + Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies across the U.S. and Canada. + Regularly update the Sales team with available rebate programs and support them in identifying eligible projects. + Prepare and submit rebate applications on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. + Track and report on the status of rebate submissions, approvals, and payments. + Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success) to align rebate efforts with company goals. + Maintain organized documentation and reporting systems for rebate-related activities. **Required Education, Experience & Skills:** + One (1) year of experience in sales support, administrative coordination, or a role involving rebate or incentive programs. + Excellent organizational, communication, and research skills. + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. + Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. + Fluency in English is required, as this role involves daily communication with clients and utility companies in the United States. + Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship **Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:** + Knowledge of energy efficiency programs, HVAC, or smart building technology is an asset. + Project management experience and familiarity with tools such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms. + Proven ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables. **Why Verdant by Copeland?** We want our employees to enjoy their life at work.  We look for results as opposed to what time you “punched in and out”.  We like to laugh, and we like to perform.
