General Laborer position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; observe, monitor and report any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and fills in as needed during vacation, absences, and increased production demands. Operate small equipment; replace or assist other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Millwright and/or Equipment Operators preferred. Responsibilities & Duties: + General labor and clean-up of production areas + Observe, monitor, and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity. + Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner. + Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, policies, and procedures. + Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed. + Other duties as assigned by management. Job Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED + Willing and able to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays. + Must possess a valid driver's license. + Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions. + Basic computer skills + Perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other harsh working conditions.
