As a Utility Worker with First Student, major job duties include:

Perform servicing tasks cleaning of filters.Replaces bulbs.Lubricates equipment.Removes wheels and tires.Changes fluids in buses.Any other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.Repairs floors , seat backs, and coveringsReplace mirrors and some exterior panelsAdd and remove decals
 

Utility Worker Qualifications 

High School degree or equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderPossess a small set of hand tools, increasing as training progressesAbility to learn and perfect maintenance skillsSubject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
