The Role at a glance:

**Sign On Bonus** $250 paid out after 30 days, $250 paid out after 60 days**

 

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker/prep to our Cater to You team in Hambrug, PA. As a utility worker/prep, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

Your Pay:

$16 / hour

Where you'll be working:

Blue Mountain Academy

What you'll be doing: Caring for and cleaning floors and table areas.  Restocking supplies in the dining area.  Removal and proper disposal of waste.  Receiving and stocking inventory.  Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment. Customer Focus: Maintains Lexington Independents customer-driven approach to service. Food Production: Follows standards that produce the highest quality product representing the Lexington Independents ideals of focusing on healthy, portion-controlled, and sustainable local foods. Peel, dice, shred and slice food products using knives or electric equipment. Wash and clean raw food products. Follow proper portion control guidelines. Keep work area and equipment neat and clean at all times. Support and participate in common teamwork with all unit members. What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

Able to use safe operating procedures and sound judgement.  Able to work both independently and as part of a team.  At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking  Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.   Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.   Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.  Customer service experience is required. 

Nice-to-haves:
