REPORTS TO:  Operations Manager 

FLSA STATUS:  Part-Time, Non-Exempt       

SALARY:         $16.50 Hourly

THE ROLE: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Utility Worker’s primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with Legends & ASM Global policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and take down flooring portable chairs, operable walls, barricades, staging tables and other equipment for the successful execution of events.Maintain and repair basic convention center equipment (seats, dasher boards, replace batteries, etc.)Cleaning and maintenance of back of house areas, garages, workstations/work areasPerform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations for the facility are met.  This includes, but is not limited to, trash removal, restocking and spill cleanup.Transport equipment to and from offsite storage, as necessaryConduct general machinery cleaning, washing, mopping and spot cleaningPerform general maintenance and janitorial duties as neededCompletes tasks in a timely manner with a high regard to quality that is consistent with the needs of Fresno Convention & Entertainment CenterMaintain a safe, secure, and sanitary work environment.Work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as neededEnsure proper facility preparations for event requirements as neededMay perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience          

High school graduate or equivalentMinimum years of related work experience:  2 years

Working Conditions

Location: On Site - Fresno Convention Center, Selland Arena, Saroyan Theatre, and Valdez Hall
