CPaaS UX Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for complex CPaaS products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and enhance our platform's user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points. Utilize methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics.

Information Architecture: Develop and maintain information architecture, including site maps, user flows, and wireframes.

Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to illustrate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.

UI Design: Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and aligned with our brand guidelines. Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design concepts and iteratively improve the user experience.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and efficient design process. Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Apply this knowledge to improve our platform's user experience continuously.

Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in CPaaS, SaaS, Enterprise or related industries.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of user experience design work, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.

Skills:

Experienced with design tools (we use Figma) to produce wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes

Experience in adding and building on top of existing Figma design system to produce reusable and scalable UX patterns and UI components

Experience in working with an existing design system in Figma

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

 Ability to communicate design ideas, via user journeys, process flows, interactive prototypes, wireframes and other UX deliverables

Ability to articulate and champion your design solutions based on human-centered design principles and incorporating research data

Ability to create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

Ability to understand, assign and monitor design KPIs in order to measure success

Experience with understanding user generated data in order to understand user behaviours

Ability to consume competitive reports in order to inform feature design

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Experience working with product teams and engineers within an agile framework environment.

Familiarity with basic web and app development concepts

Prioritise and manage work, working to multiple timelines

High level of initiative and a “make it work” ethos

Continually looking to learn and grow as a designer

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills — you’ll be collaborating with others and presenting your work regularly

Demonstrates taking ownership of issues through to resolution

Work cross-geographies with team members
