Your role.

User Experience (UX) Manager

Your work will include, but not be limited to:  


Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of UX researchers in the lab, manage the research pipeline, optimize staff allocations to deliver optimal research outcomes, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous process improvement Create and execute comprehensive UX research strategies for the firm’s lab environment, ensuring a cohesive and user-centered approach to research Conduct UX research activities including surveys, interviews, journey maps, etc., to gather qualitative and quantitative data and operational insights to inform fusion team recommendations and Practice area decisions Collaborate on multidisciplinary fusion teams to ensure seamless integration of UX research findings into the firm’s SDLC processes, balancing user needs with technical capabilities to achieve targeted Practice area business outcomes Champion user-centered design principles and best practices across the firm Stay current on the latest advancements and best practices around UX research methods, tools, and trends to advance our research capabilities and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace Use qualitative and quantitative data to measure the effectiveness of UX initiatives



The qualifications.


Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Human-Computer Interaction with certifications in UX research and design; Master’s degree (preferred) Minimum of 8 years of experience in UX research and data analysis (qualitative and quantitative – behavioral and attitudinal) with at least 2 years in a leadership role Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of UX researchers, manage research pipelines, optimize staff allocations to deliver optimal research outcomes, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous process improvement Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate UX research concepts and findings to stakeholders at all organizational levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to think critically about user needs and targeted Practice area business outcomes Proven ability collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to explore business problems and prototype potential solutions (processes, products, and services) Experience with agile development methodologies that enable effective collaboration with Tech Services teams in an iterative design and development environment This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel
