Job DescriptionObtain, clarify and negotiate automotive requirements with Japanese OEM customerSupport actively the verification and release process for UX customer product (display solution)Support identification, handling and acquisition of additional UX business with customerSupport UX product design department to confirm requirements with vehicle design department, verify vehicle specifications and issue change requestsSupport creation of material for regulation & compliance certificationPrepare and organize regular meetings between customer and product design teamSupport VA/VE discussion between product design department and customerResponsible for styling design, mounting study and other technical topics confirmation and negotiation with other departmentsResponsible for verification in the CAD (e.g. CATIA) systemSupport the design review on vehicle levelResponsible for the design review (e.g. DRBFM) of the UX productResponsible for the review of the requirement specificationsOrganize evaluation and confirm UX product functionality in the car and on benchSupport verification and release of vehicle repair and owners’ manualQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent5+ years of progressive automotive industry experience; design & technical requirementsCapability to analyze technical problems including problem solving methods (e.g. 5Why, FTA)Process & Tool experience on change-, version- and req. managementProcess & Tool experience on product design (e.g. CATIA, Design FMEA including DRBFM)Flexibility for frequent domestic business trip, especially Japanese OEM customer as a guest engineerPro-activeness & respond in a timely manner to critical itemsUnderstanding of the customers and user needs and problems in automotive environmentPlanning and Organization skillsExcellent communication skills respecting customer and Continental’s business strategy, with harmony (English and Japanese required)Good presentation skills (English and Japanese required)Ability to self-organize and self-manage tasks within scope given by managementKnowledge of passenger vehicles cockpit design and technologies would be advantageExperience with Toyota group processes and structures would be advantageAdditional InformationPlease submit your resumes in both English and Japanese.
