UX Resarcher (m/f/d) - Zürich, Switzerland
We are seeking a talented UX Researcher to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our cloud-based dentistry applications (DS Core). In this role, you will conduct research to gain deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that empower dental practitioners and enhance dental care delivery. As a UX Researcher, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, UX researchers, developers, and clinicians, to ensure our clinical applications are designed with a deep understanding of user context and requirements.
Your responsibilities:
Conduct UX Research: Plan and execute a variety of research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis, to gather valuable insights into user needs and behaviors. Translate research findings into actionable recommendations. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, UX researchers, developers, and clinical experts to integrate research insights into the design and development process. Participate in cross-functional meetings and discussions to share findings and support design decisions. Support Research Planning: Assist in defining research goals and developing research plans that align with project objectives. Help prioritize research activities based on project needs and timelines. Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with industry trends, emerging research methods, and advancements in dental care. Apply new knowledge to improve research practices and contribute to innovative design solutions. Share Insights: Communicate research findings effectively through reports, presentations, and workshops. Help facilitate understanding and action based on user insights across the team.
Your profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive psychology, anthropology or a related field or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of experience as a UX researcher in an industry setup, with focus on qualitative UX research methods with a demonstrated ability to conduct research and deliver insights that inform design and development. Knowledge of Research Methods: Familiarity with a range of research methodologies and tools. Ability to apply appropriate methods to address different research questions and project needs. Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers and Architects/technical leads throughout the design process.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:
Good communication skills, including the ability to present research findings clearly and effectively. Interest in B2B products: An interest in researching and understanding complex B2B products or applications, with a willingness to learn about the unique challenges and requirements involved Business English Fluency is a must. Mastery of any other languages is a plus. 10 % of travel is expected in this role especially to conduct UX research with users and collaborate with other stakeholders.
