Current undergraduate junior-year student graduating in spring or fall 2026 with a passion for design research and interest in entering the UX Research field; extensive research experience is not required as a pre-requisite Current graduate level masters research students graduating in summer or fall 2026 are also welcomed in this program Available full-time, 40 hours per week during the work week (typically 9am-5pm) from May-August 2025, or June-September 2025 Ability to work from our offices located in Redwood City, CA or Seattle, WA Attend a university in the US Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025
About You (Preferred Qualifications)
Minimum GPA of 3.0. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate master students expected to graduate in May 2026 or later, pursuing a degree in Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field. Have experience with using different research methods, with an understanding of each method's benefits and limitations. Communicate both qualitative and quantitative insights effectively through clear articulation and visualization. Bring an insatiable curiosity, asking meaningful questions to deepen your understanding of human behavior, motivations, and challenges. Display deep empathy and a passion for uncovering people’s values and unspoken needs, sharing your insights enthusiastically. Embrace continuous learning, actively seeking new perspectives, contexts, and challenges. Adapt and take initiative, working seamlessly with a global team of researchers, designers, and PMs while bringing your unique background and voice to the table. Share your research portfolio or 2-3 examples of research projects that showcase your proudest work. We’re interested in seeing your skills in team collaboration, strategic thinking, creativity, and communication. These examples can come from school, passion projects, or previous work experience.

Plan, design, and lead research projects end-to-end and facilitate the experience for our team. Collaborate closely with partners in design and product management to learn complex domains, assess needs, ask the right questions, and bring them along in discovering the answers. Conduct research using the right approach to answer the question in hand leveraging a wide range of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods. Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in creative, compelling and actionable ways that deepen the understanding of problem space and fuels ideation. Execute research with rigor, synthesize data, apply/create frameworks to discover and explain your insights.
