UX Research / UX Designer

Kforce has a client in Plano, TX that is looking for an experienced UX Researcher/UX Designer who can split their time between conducting user research and designing impactful solutions.
Summary:
This role will require expertise in both user research to gather valuable insights and UX design to translate those insights into actionable solutions. We are also open to hiring a part-time UX Researcher if the right candidate prefers a consulting or freelance arrangement. Candidates must be available during regular business hours and should have experience working in B2B distribution environments. This role will be working on a senior team that works remote in CST, EST zones. The UX Research/UX Designer will play a key role in driving the user experience for our products by engaging directly with customers, conducting research, and then designing intuitive solutions based on the insights you gather.
UX Research:
* Conduct and lead monthly customer panels to gather feedback and insights
* Use effective questioning techniques to elicit meaningful information from customers, probing to uncover their needs and pain points
* Manage diverse customer personalities and adapt communication style accordingly
* Analyze user feedback and present actionable research findings to the team without offering immediate solutions, ensuring user insights are at the forefront of product decision-making
* Document user research findings and ensure insights align with business objectives
UX Design:
* Take the insights gathered from your research and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that improve user interaction and experience
* Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure the user experience is cohesive and aligns with the overall business goals
* Create user flows, sitemaps, and design mockups to improve usability and user engagement
* Iteratively design based on feedback from usability testing and stakeholder reviews
