\nJob Description\n\nUse the design process to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces that successfully merge stakeholder and end-user needs.\nWork closely with the UX Manager and UX\/UI Team Lead to create usability strategies, test plans, and report deliverables.\nWork closely with the Usability Lab Manager and UX\/UI Team Lead to conduct usability studies for a multitude of health-related products and services; analyze study data and identify trends that fuel report deliverables.\nCollaborate with other UX designers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders in an Agile scrum environment.\nTranslate clients' product vision into tangible digital experiences by researching, conceiving, sketching, wire-framing, prototyping, and testing experiences.\nIdentify design problems and devise elegant, simple solutions that are based on user needs and goals.\nValidate design decisions and concepts through user research, heuristic analysis, and user testing.\nEfficiently balance multiple projects and tasks.\n\nJob Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Human Centered Design\/UX (or equivalent nomenclature)\nOr, UX design certification: 4 years relevant experience may substitute a Bachelor's Degree\nTwo to three years of UX design experience (in industry, freelance, etc.) Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments regardless of cumulative years of experience.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.\nUS Citizenship Required.\nExpertise in Figma is a must.\nAbility to understand color and visual design principles.\nFirm research and usability foundation.\nExperience planning and conducting user research, user testing, A\/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.\nProficient in visual and interaction design.\nExperience with mobile and progressive web apps as well as websites and SharePoint sites.\n508 compliance and accessibility knowledge.\nExperience in using UX design best practices with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.\nAbility to effectively work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client vision and end-user needs.\nStrong written and spoken communications skills and ability to present ideas to all levels of stakeholders, including VIPs.\nAbility to iterate designs and solutions quickly, efficiently and intelligently.\nMust possess problem-solving skills, an investigative mentality, and a proactive attitude with the courage to speak up and take charge when necessary.\nMaintains growth mindset, is a team player and collaborates with team effectively.\nAbility to operate with minimal guidance and direction.\nStrong time and project management skills to ensure all deadlines are met.\nMust have a valid driver's license as some local travel is required.\nAble to perform duties, deliver high quality results and work in a team environment both in-person and remotely.\n\nPrescreen\n
