Job description
Required:
• Must be located in Guadalajara - WFO
• 3+ years of experience in web-based, front-end user interface development or similar
• 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript
Nice to Have:
• Experience in Scrum/Agile development environments
• Accessibility best practices: WCAG 2.0+ AA compliance, localization, inclusive design
• Responsive Design: Understanding how to make websites look good on all devices, from desktops to mobiles.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git for tracking changes and collaborating with other developers.
Knowing how to use tools like Chrome DevTools for debugging and performance testing.
• iPhone/Android app design: Knowledge of the basics of user interface and user experience design to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Using tools like Figma or Sketch to plan and design web pages before development.
Soft Skills:
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Communication: Effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that designs are pixel-perfect and function as intended.
• Preprocessors & Build Tools: Knowledge of tools like Sass, LESS, Webpack, and Gulp can be advantageous.
• Understanding how to make web pages search-engine friendly.
• Techniques to make websites load faster and perform better.
