We are looking for passionate and creative UX/UI Intern to join our dynamic design team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design of digital products, including Four Hands’ eCommerce site and other digital interfaces. As an intern, you will collaborate with our Senior Digital Product Designer and cross functional partners to help create intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences.
This position is expected to start January 2025 and continue through the entire Spring 2025 term (through April 2025). Our internships are a minimum of 10 weeks, part-time and on-site.
In This Role\nConduct user research, competitive analysis and gather insights to inform design decisions\nAssist in creating journey maps and user flows \nSupport work on wireframes, prototypes, and mockups \nCreate visual designs that align with brand guidelines and design system \nContribute to the development of user interfaces that enhance user experience \nWork closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements \nParticipate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques and reviews \nAssist in creating interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts \nPresent prototypes and make adjustments based on stakeholder feedback \nSupport the maintenance of design documentation, including style guides and design systems \nEnsure that design specifications are well-documented and communicated effectively to the development team \nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team \nOther duties as assigned by Management \n
The Ideal Person\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or related field \nPortfolio of work samples that demonstrate an understanding of user-centered design\nFamiliarity of design and prototyping tools such as Figma \nExperience with project management tool such as Jira is a plus\nStrategic thinking with ability to align design goals with business goals \nInnovative thinker who has a strong understanding of design fundamentals \nStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills\nDesire to learn and grow in the UX/UI field \n
Internship Program at Four Hands The Internship Program is aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in the area they are most passionate about. Interns at Four Hands have the opportunity to work closely with various departments to gain valuable knowledge about the company. The program focuses on professional development, offering mentorship from like-minded professionals and the chance to contribute to real projects. Interns are encouraged to bring innovative ideas to make the experience challenging and rewarding. This program will enable students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their future careers.
