ABOUT THE TEAM
Building on SAP's intelligent enterprise strategy it is the mission of SAP Signavio to assist our customers in navigating their digital transformation journeys. We help them to understand and improve their business processes in a data-driven way.
The Signavio.Next tackles upfront risk mitigation for product discovery. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As we are a startup-like environment, every team member covers a wide variety of tasks. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other key players to fully grasp project goals and user requirements.
Advanced Interface Design: Spearhead the creation and refinement of user interfaces, from preliminary wireframes to detailed prototypes.
Rapid Prototyping: Lead swift prototyping cycles to evaluate and hone designs based on direct user feedback.
In-depth User Research: Employ both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to uncover deep insights into user behaviors and preferences.
Strategic Design Implementation: Transform research data into design strategies that influence product direction and tactical decisions across all stages of the product lifecycle.
Integration and Alignment: Manage product interdependencies to ensure cohesive design coherence and alignment.
Usability Advocacy: Champion human-centered design and usability best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively present and defend design proposals while articulating intricate design principles to stakeholders.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
3–5 years of proven success in User Experience or Interaction Design.
The ability to rapidly understand complex IT systems and technical requirements, utilizing domain expertise to create clear, user-centered designs.
Experience in Enterprise Software as well as data and process mining, Analytics, and or business process modelling would be a plus.
Evident skills around User Experience methods, skills, and frameworks like creating Prototypes, forming Information Architecture, and creating UX and UI specifications.
In-depth knowledge of methodology to perform User Experience Research like creating User Journeys, Scenarios, Personas, and Storyboards, as well as validating your concepts.
An understanding of design systems and their technical frameworks (SAP Design System and React Framework)
Dedication to being a good team player with the ability to engage, motivate and give feedback to others.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Experience in leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Process Mining, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence within UX frameworks to enhance user experience and product functionality.
Data Visualization Expertise: Familiarity with leading data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Google Charts, Power BI, etc., with a proven track record of integrating complex datasets into clear, actionable user interfaces.
Analytics and Insights: Prior experience in designing UX for data-driven and analytics products, with a keen ability to translate business requirements into effective design strategies that support data interpretation and decision-making processes.
Emerging Tech Curiosity: A demonstrated interest in staying abreast of emerging trends in UX design, technology, and methods, ensuring the incorporation of best practices and innovative solutions into the product development cycle.
