Job DescriptionTo Supervise and lead the Technical Services Department. Directly supervises all hourly associates in the Technical Services Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Monitor and maintain the Preventative Maintenance program for Maintenance. Insure a high level of service with the Maintenance Requisition System with all departments. 30%Provide phone support to other technicians 24/7 and provide on-site support after hours as needed. Responsible for ensuring that equipment is maintained at such a level to guarantee a safe, efficient, and profitable operation. Works with management, engineering, and production employees to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment. Keeps management informed of equipment status, work in progress, and work completed. 25%Active member of safety and security teams assisting/coordinating training and documentation requirements. Responsible for reporting and/or correcting any unsafe conditions. To promote communication with team as ways to correct, improve, make better and/or identify potential problems. Working knowledge of networks and ability to communicate effectively with infrastructure teams. 30%Prepare and present formal training for Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance, Address training needs of individuals in the department. Report to Maintenance Manager on project updates. When necessary, participate in the coordination of parts orders, and stocking. 15%.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (Required)Familiarity with press operation processes desired.5 years Relevant Experience (Preferred)Required Certifications/Licensures: (JLG-Man Lift License, Forklift Safety Training Certificate, Fork Lift License).Ability to maintain a clean safe work area.Ablity to multi-task, handling, or leading multiple tasks at onceMust be familiar with mechanical, electrical, OSHA and environmental regulations and compliance.The ability to work extra hours, beyond regular schedule, to complete work assignments is required.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
