Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The HPV Lead will be responsible for leading a diversified senior marketing team. This role involves analyzing the market potential for HPV, building comprehensive strategies to address customer behaviors and delivering impactful campaigns for various key stakeholders, including consumers, healthcare organizations, and healthcare professionals. The HPV Lead will leverage an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and marketing trends to design and implement innovative approaches that elevate the brand's success. Additionally, the role requires a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical regulations to ensure compliance with all related policies and SOPs, and to build a sustainable long-term strategy for the HPV portfolio.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:

1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

Lead Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges. Utilize advanced analytics and data-driven insights to understand market dynamics and customer behaviors.Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer insights through social listening, surveys, and market research. Use these insights to refine marketing strategies and ensure they resonate with target audiences.Develop Innovative Strategies: Formulate innovative marketing strategies that leverage data analytics to address customer needs and market trends. Ensure strategies are designed to enhance the brand's established market presence and drive faster growth.Private Market Development: Formulate strategies to expand the HPV portfolio in the private market. Identify and target high-potential customer segments, develop tailored marketing approaches to engage these segments effectively.NIP Collaboration: Explore opportunities to collaborate with the National Immunization Program (NIP) to harmonize efforts in combating HPV-related cancers and diseases. Work closely with public health authorities to align strategies and leverage NIP resources for broader reach and impact.Sustainable Growth: Design strategies that ensure sustainable growth of the HPV portfolio. Focus on long-term initiatives that build brand loyalty, enhance customer engagement, and drive continuous improvement in vaccination rates.

2. Campaign Development and Execution:

Design Impactful Campaigns: Create and execute high-impact marketing campaigns tailored to different key stakeholders, including consumers, healthcare organizations, and healthcare professionals. Ensure campaigns are innovative and leverage omni-channel marketing and digital tactics.Collaborate with Regional Teams: Work closely with regional marketing teams to design and implement campaigns that are tailored to local insights and market conditions. Ensure that regional campaigns align with the overall brand strategy while addressing specific local needs and opportunities.Regional Campaign Implementation: Coordinate with regional teams to execute campaigns effectively. Provide guidance and support to ensure consistency and alignment with the brand’s objectives. Monitor the performance of regional campaigns and make adjustments as needed to enhance their impact.Monitor and Evaluate Impact: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of promotional and advertising programs. Use key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate impact and ensure high-impact investments meet their objectives. Employ advanced analytics to track campaign performance and optimize marketing efforts. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies in real-time to maximize impact.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with internal policies, pharmaceutical regulations, and industry standards. Collaborate with regulatory affairs to align marketing strategies with legal requirements.Policy Adherence: Design marketing programs that adhere to all related policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure compliance is maintained throughout the execution of marketing initiatives.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

Build a High-Performing Team: Lead and develop a diversified senior marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creativity and high performance.Set Objectives and Manage Performance: Establish clear objectives for the marketing team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and development.Enhance Team Capabilities: Invest in the professional development of team members. Provide training and resources to enhance their skills and capabilities, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Engage Internal Stakeholders: Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, medical, regulatory, and regional teams. Ensure alignment and synergy across all functions to support marketing initiatives.Build Relationships with Key Customers: Engage with key customers and opinion leaders to build brand loyalty and deliver a unique customer experience. Leverage these relationships to gain insights and drive brand advocacy.

6. Resource Management:

Optimize Resource Allocation: Manage HPV portfolio resources, including budget and marketing staff, to ensure efficient and effective use of resources. Prioritize high-impact initiatives that drive growth and maximize return on investment.Demand Forecasting and Planning: Conduct monthly demand forecasting and prepare sales forecasts to support planning and inventory control. Ensure accurate and data-driven forecasts to meet market demand and optimize supply chain operations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

Desired Experience/Education/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.Significant marketing experience with at least two years’ experience as a Marketing Manager (experienced people manager and drive a business is >50M USDs).Previous experience in a multi-national organization (exposure to marketing in healthcare industry is desirable).
