About: Vulcraft, a division of Nucor Corporation, is seeking applicants for a Sales Representative position located in the Lexington, KY sales office Basic Job Functions: Be a positive and energetic teammate with a can-do attitude and an active participant within our culture. Take care of customers and build strong, durable, loyal relationships in the Lexington, KY sales territory. Take ownership of customer accounts and grow profitable business in the market. Estimate steel joist and steel deck requirements from contract documents to develop project costs and create quotes utilizing Vulcraft products. Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained through professional, informative, and responsive communication with our teammates, partners, and customers. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma Be located in, or willing to relocate to Lexington, KY Be willing to and have the means to travel. Be willing to work more than 40 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: 2-year or 4-year college degree in a business, engineering, or construction discipline. Two or more years experience in the steel joist and deck industry. Experience in reading structural and architectural drawings, project specifications, along with general understanding of the construction process. Willingness to advance and relocate to a Nucor facility or another District Sales Office in the future.
