About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced IC Validation Engineer ready to make an impact? Join our dedicated IC Validation team within the Silicon Productization Engineering division, located in Lund and working closely with teams in Kista and Austin, you’ll play a key role in validating and verifying ASIC and FPGA components.
This opportunity involves the entire process: from developing IC validation frameworks and executing electrical measurements to support product integration.
We’re looking for a collaborative, solution-oriented team player who’s also self-motivated and ready to mentor others. What you will do;
• Validate high-quality and high-performance IC products to meet rigorous standards, as well as customer expectations.
• Customize test scripts and test programs, specify test boards requirements, and create validation plans for new devices.
• Contribute to bring-up activities for new ICs, including initial manual debugging and investigations.
• Perform core electrical and functional validation measurements over PVT, perform power correlation exercises, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert customer support when needed.
• Drive continuous improvements in processes, product quality, and validation methods.
Skills you bring
• Extensive experience with at least 6+ years in electrical validation and component-level functional verification, with strong hands-on expertise in lab setups and equipment.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C and C++, along with scripting languages.
• Deep knowledge of ASICs, FPGAs, and hardware test setups, with proven ability to design and troubleshoot complex validation processes.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting validation data, diagnosing issues, and deriving actionable insights to enhance product quality and performance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
• Clear communication skills in both written and spoken English, with an ability to document technical findings effectively and collaborate across teams.
