The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20-$26/hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & DevelopmentCollaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements and specificationsAssist in creating comprehensive test plans and validation proceduresDevelop automated or manual test scripts to evaluate product performanceExecution & AnalysisConduct functional, stress, regression, and reliability testingCollect and analyze test data; identify trends or anomaliesDocument test setups and processes to ensure repeatability and reliabilityReporting & DocumentationCreate clear, concise test reports summarizing findings and recommendationsMaintain thorough documentation of test results, including bugs, defects, and test logsPresent findings to the engineering team, providing insights for product improvementsCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to identify and troubleshoot issuesRecommend process enhancements to improve testing efficiencyParticipate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share insights and learningsQualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.Familiarity with basic programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or Java) and scripting to automate test tasks.Exposure to hardware test setups, lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters), or embedded systems is a plus.Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in test execution and documentation.Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and cross-functional team collaboration.Willingness to work closely with senior engineers, learn from feedback, and ask questions proactively.Self-motivation and ability to follow directions while also taking initiative.Demonstrated interest in validation, quality assurance, or product reliability.Openness to developing new technical skills and learning industry-standard tools/methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
