Working here you’ll be part of a family that works together to make a difference and enhance the lives of millions worldwide. **What You’ll Work On** + Develop and manage the Validation Management Plan (VMP) + Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance with validation regulations. + Review and approve validation protocols and reports. + Maintain validation documentation and records. + Lead and support Design Qualification processes including: System Impact Assessments (SIA), Project Validation Plan (PVP), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and User Requirement Specifications (URS) for new installations or major changes. + Develop and implement validation protocols and procedures. + Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of non-compliance. + Ensure all processes, systems, and equipment meet regulatory standards. + Maintain detailed documentation of validation activities. + Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance. + Provide training and support to staff on validation processes. + Investigate and resolve validation-related issues. + Prepare and present validation reports to management. + Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes. + Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. + Develop and maintain validation schedules. + Ensure timely completion of validation projects. + Review and approve validation documentation. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. + Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of validation equipment. + Assist in the development of quality assurance policies and procedures. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required. + At least **5** years work experience in Quality, Validation, Engineering or related field in the food industry or industries with similar levels of regulatory oversight such as laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, etc. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
