Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesJoin the forefront of automotive advancement! Our FCE Engineering R&D Division is seeking a Technical Leader-Project.
• Lead the validation activities of a project, taking ownership of all validation skills and deliverables, ensuring rigorous adherence to project-specific metrics and KPIs.
• Be accountable to the external customer and internal management for validation activities.
• Define and deploy test strategy, test data management, and test environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Serve as the key access point to the program/project team for validation activities, providing essential support in urgent situations.
• Optimize program budgets by eliminating redundancies in investments and implementing efficiency improvement plans, aiming for cost optimization and Right-First-Time solutions.
• Lead engineering validation efficiency activities through capitalization, standardization, design review, and training.
• Direct validation project members and actively participate in daily project-specific sprint meetings.
• Deliver timely periodic updates to senior management through progress reports, project summaries, and related documents.
• Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with adeptness.
• Communicate effectively across various stakeholders on the project, ensuring adherence to project deliverables as per planned timelines, and report any deviations to the project leader and team manager.
• Apply and enforce FCE processes, ensuring adherence from external teams involved in validation activities.
We are seeking a candidate who ideally possess the following:
• Degree in the field of Engineering or Electronics/Computer Science with a certification in ISTQB
• Professional working experience in Automotive Electronics Product and System Engineering activities as Project Leader, Manager under Cross-Functional Organization and Cross-Regional work environment.
• Hold a valid driving license, enabling mobility and flexibility as required for the role.
• Strong language proficiency in both written and spoken English and German
• Lead and mentor System Validation teams to success with a proven track record.
• Demonstrate extensive proficiency in Automotive SPICE, review processes, and system validation.
• Engage in hands-on involvement in Automotive infotainment testing and/or development spanning Bluetooth, Media, Tuner, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, USB, Wi-Fi, Wireless charger, Connectivity, Navigation, Audio, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity.
• Utilize strong knowledge of handling high-end automotive electronics test equipment.
• Employ IBM Jazz Suite and ETM and/or Jira & Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Apply knowledge of Agile methodology, including working in Scrum teams, and STLC and ASPICE SYS5 for System validation within the Automotive industry.
