Validation & Verification Project Engineer - AE Defense

The AE Defense V&V Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Rolls-Royce has sufficient oversight for our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. It covers engineers who are performing Project, Development, Systems Engineering and Verification style roles.

Key Accountabilities:
Lead the technical program management and engineering efforts for AE 2100 and AE 1107 defense projects.
Coordinate the technical activities of a multi-functional team that delivers engineering solutions for design/configuration changes (Product Change Board process)
Lead AE 2100 and AE 1107 defense engineering projects and develop/communicate the plan and budget for delivering such improvements to cost and schedule
Lead the application of Systems Engineering to elicit, influence, and manage engine-level business and technical requirements and allocate requirements to sub-system level
Represent the engine program in technical meetings with customers, operators, and airworthiness authorities.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience OR,
Master’s degree in engineering with 1+ years of experience OR
JD/PhD
Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential
Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience in business case development and project management

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
