Valuation Control Group (VCG) is organized along business lines including Corporate & Investment Bank (Macro Products, Credit, Equities, Securitized Products, IB Risk), CIO, Treasury & Corporate (CTC), Asset Management, Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) and Commercial Banking (CB). Clients of the group include senior management, business heads, regulators, and both internal and external audit. The group also works closely with the Traders, CFOs, Market Risk, and Middle Office to ensure a complete understanding of business issues and the accurate execution of valuation policy. 

Job Summary

As an Associate within the Valuation Control Group, you will primarily focus on the automation and redesign of existing implementations using technologies like Alteryx, Python, Excel VBA, and BI tools like Tableau. You will work closely with various teams and clients, including senior management, business heads, regulators, and both internal and external audit. This role provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical skills and gain a deep understanding of our business processes

Job responsibilities

Demonstrate proven experience with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx ServerShow strong understanding of ETL processes.Be proficient in workflow automation, scheduling, and deployment using Alteryx Server.Experience in working with large datasets and optimizing data workflows for performance.Familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle), APIs, and integration with Alteryx.Basic knowledge of Python, VBA, or other scripting languages (a plus).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Adhere to the control, governance, and development standards for intelligent solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Strong understanding and 2-3 years working experience in building workflows using Alteryx.Should have Alteryx Core certification.Working experience on Python.Analytical, quantitative aptitude and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communications skills

Experience in developing dashboards on BI Tools like Tableau is a plusKnowledge of finance in general will be helpful but not mandatory
