Valuations Specialist (REVS)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Valuations Specialist within REVS (Real Estate Valuation Services). As a Valuations Specialist, the candidate will be expected to review and handle residential valuations including appraisals, desktop products, and supplemental reviews to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures and investor requirements.


In this role, you will:

Participate in low to moderately complex residential and commercial valuation initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities

Perform basic valuation management reviews, valuations, inspections, quality oversights, and consult on low-to-medium risk level issues and deliverables

Review, analyze or prepare basic valuation reports to ensure appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory, and bank policy

Present recommendations for resolving situations with low to moderate complexity, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, processes, and compliance requirements

Provide information, collaborate, and consult with collateral examiners, peers, internal partners and managers

Interact and manage business relationships


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Valuations, Lending, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Mortgage Industry experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills

Experience with Wells Fargo systems such as CORE, ICMP, LPSCloud, Coast2Coast, and/or Christine/Opera

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important


Job Expectations:

This position offers a hybrid work schedule

You are Required to attend the full duration of paid training - 8-10 weeks

Ability to Obtain required Delegation of Authority within 90-120 days of start date
