About the Role

Reporting into the Operations Supervisor, the Value Chain Process Lead  will support the Process Specialist and Operations Mangers to integrate Service and Production work into comprehensive value chains.  This will include the setup of work cells, collaboration on Standard Work, and training associates on new tools and products.  This position will work with Operations Supervisor and Process Specialist on improved daily management, ensuring the value chains have the appropriate tools to understand the team’s performance and trends, and can identify and implement sustained countermeasures for gaps. This position will lead teams within this value chain and will have a strong focus to improve overall On-Time Delivery (ODT) and External Quality.

This position is part of the Optics Department located in Bellevue Washington and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Lead the work of associates in the value chains, including but not limited to developing priorities and setting work schedules with the support of Operations SupervisorDevelops and guides the team to build a learning organization that creates systems and process that yields work completed as efficiently and as optimally as possible.Identify any continuous improvements in the Inventory management functionProduce applicable daily reports for key critical areas highlighting a level of control.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

2-year technical degree5+ years of related work experienceDemonstrated working knowledge of and ability to solder and working level of mechanical aptitudeExcellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistentlyStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively lead a teamGood knowledge of customer service processes (i.e., pricing, products, services, etc.)Oversee complex circuit board repairs that may include soldering, wiring, replacement of inoperative electrical and/or mechanical parts

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $32.00 - $35.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
