As part of a collaborative department supporting the chassis control - steering product segment, you’ll work closely with a talented group of project managers, program buyers, and partner cross-functionally with key departments such as Engineering, Quality, Controlling - Finance, Material Planning, Logistics, and Operations. This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead and influence critical projects, while driving continuous innovation and optimizing the supply chain. You’ll be empowered to make a significant impact, shaping the success of key initiatives within the company.

 

What you can look forward to as a Value Management Project Manager: 

Leads a cross-functional team of Project Purchasing Buyer, and other key functions such as engineering, quality and sales. Establishes project routine meetings to monitor progress in line with commitments, identifies countermeasures in case of deviations and drives cross-functional escalation management. Drives the cross-functional team to work on continuous idea creation by applying a toolbox of enablers (internal/external workshops, cost driver analysis, 360° analysis, benchmarking, supplier target letter, …), supporting VMMT PP in developing a 3-year-pipeline of VAVE ideas. Manages and tracks budgeted PE hours, resources with all relevant stakeholders to commonly secure the required resources to ensure on-time savings delivery. Prepares Operational Plan based on the idea pipeline and according given savings-targets, creates detailed project plans and initiates measures to close gaps vs. target. Supports Post-SOP projects to avoid impact/ delays to production and projects that improve the company's footprint through an optimized supply chain.

 

Your Profile as a Value Management Project Manager: 

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years’ work experience within automotive/business related industry. Project Management Expertise (Project planning, Controlling & Monitoring, Risk Assessment, Change Request Management, Quality Management). Technical expertise, analytical thinking and cost awareness. Leadership (Teamwork, Embracing Change and Innovation, Results orientation). Social & Interpersonal Competencies (Communication, Building relationships, Conflict Management, workshop moderation). Knowledge of Project Management standards and methods (e.g. IPMA B/C/D, PMI-PMP.) Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%. Resilient and result-driven
