Roles and Responsibilities
Lead execution related responsibilities for assigned equipment. Engage with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Commodity Leaders, Buyers, Suppliers, Logistics and Project TeamsUse Problem Solving and Lean Tools, lead cross-functional teams at identifying systemic causes of delivery delays and implementing long term improvement actionsPerform Root Cause Analysis on late items. Lead improvement actions on top driversLead supplier improvement activities directly with suppliers. Use lean tools, etc to assist them in understanding process issues and improving themDevelop tracking routines with key suppliers to achieve better forecasting of delivery riskSupport and lead long term corrective action for relevant NCR’sDevelop and implement framework for concurrent engineering where necessary to meet cycleServe as approval representative for engineering change ordersSupport detailed action plans to address escalated items impacting site/contract delivery/LDs
Support operating routines to identify and resolve issues which will delay delivery such as:Issues delaying on-time PO placementIssues impacting vendor to vendor items that may delay supplier integration schedulesDesign-related issues impacting on-time supplier deliveryLogistics exceptionsRequired Qualifications
.Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 5 years Sourcing, Projects, Lean or Supply Chain Management experienceDesired Characteristics
Recent experience working in the Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or projects teamsBachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business discipline5+ years of experience for Power Generation products.High motivation and influencing skillsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsAbility to operate with global suppliers and team membersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal / facilitation skillsProactive self-starterChange agentStrong process mindsetExperience with commercial contractsGE Program GraduateMS / MBA DegreeDemonstrated technical aptitude & business acumenCross-functional and International team experiencePay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $108,800 - $145,100 US Dollars. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
