Ferguson is currently seeking a Valve Technician to join our Valve & Automation Team! If you enjoy working with your hands, learning new things every day & challenging your mechanical skill then this job is for you!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am  – 5pm (Plus overtime when needed)

Starting pay $20/ hr  DOE

Responsibilities:

Assemble and build manual valves into automated valvesEvaluate valves for repair and qualify repair opportunitiesReceive, pull, and package material.Perform some miscellaneous machining including drilling, tapping, cutting, threading, and grinding.Willing to learn new tasks from a team of experienced associates and be comfortable working in a shop environment.Respect and comply with all safety protocol.Support our team in the field by performing fast turnarounds

Qualifications:Previous experience operating machinery for fabrication and the use of cutting and drilling materials preferred.Previous electrical experience as a trade or in conjunction with a previous position is a plus.Valve assembly and/or valve repair experience is a plus.Ability to do some basic welding is preferred, but not required.Must have excellent mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.Demonstrate basic math skills.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Job is mainly on one’s feet all dayAbility to work overtime if requested.Be a proponent of working in a safe environment and promote safety everyday

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
