Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver based in Cardiff with an immediate start for a temporary assignment with a view to go permanent for the right candidate.

Pay: £12 Per Hour

Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00

The Role:Plan efficient delivery routes throughout South Wales to safely ensure goods are delivered in a timely manner to customersComply with health and safety requirements to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy before each and every journey, through daily vehicle checksDrive safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environmentAbility to handle fragile packages and parcels with care and adhering to manual handling regulations - some heavy lifting is a requirement of the roleCommunicates with customers by phone to update them of time of deliveries if there have been issues or changes to their estimated time of arrivalTo assist in the warehouse to take delivery of goods for unloading, sorting, stacking and storage process/pick order requests for all stock items for a customer collection and /or delivery from the warehouse
The Right candidate:Valid full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.Excellent time management and organisation skills.Ability to undertake physical activities.Previous experience in a similar roleA forklift licence is desirable
