Variable Compensation Operations Specialist
About the Role:
Variable Comp Operations Specialist is mainly responsible for providing support to Variable Compensation team and will be involved with operations, training documentation (internal & external), analysis, communications, and process improvement initiatives.
Provide best in class support to our Sales organization.
What you will do:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, define, design, and implement training materials for the organization
Partner with key internal stakeholders for content management and publishing
Review business processes, identify gaps and recommend solutions for improving efficiency and service levels
Create project plans and timelines
Support maintenance of process documentation, project roadmap, and productivity improvement tracking
Support implementation of operational reporting for activities and processes
Facilitate/coordinate meetings
Ongoing management of updates to Variable Comp communications/training content on Inside Gartner & Confluence
Maintain communication with key stakeholders across the organization
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
2-3 years business experience; preferred 1-2 years of experience in Variable Compensation
1+ years of writing, advanced formatting, and editing experience for corporate training, educational, or instructional resources
Power BI experience developing reporting preferred
Experience using communication software such as Bananatag and mass email software solutions preferred
Proven track record of driving change in the areas of people, process, and technology
Ability to make independent decisions
Ability to prepare complex analysis and ‘what if’ modeling
Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data from multiple sources
Proficient in Microsoft software
Experience/exposure to project management software desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess the ability to communicate and present with confidence to a diverse audience at various levels and different cultures within the organization
Exceptional listening skills
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a sometimes-high pressure environment
Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
Develop a thorough understanding of Variable Compensation processes
Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with the ability to build strong internal business partnerships supporting the direction in which the company is heading.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 77,280 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
