As a member of the radiation oncology and multidisciplinary oncology teams within Varian, this position will serve as a multidisciplinary oncology project manager in the region. The primary responsibility of the position will be to support and represent Varian in the implementation and operations of the Customers in Manila, Philippines. Additionally, this position will provide project management and expertise on oncology projects across the APJ region in coordination and collaboration with the sales teams.Core Responsibility:

Oversees execution team and ensures the success to client’s strategic goals through Varian's end-to-end solution as defined by the scope of work

Builds and maintains a collaborative, executive-level partnership in support of long-term loyalty

Partners with Sales and other Varian leadership to ensure client success from strategy scoping through execution

Responsible for the execution of enterprise solutions that focus on reducing time to value for our partners

Acts as Varian product and oncology expert to assist with client success as defined by the scope of work 

Operationalize the following based on client’s scope of work:

o Execution Plano Key performance indicators of success (KPI's) for the routine scorecard to measure performanceo Partnership governance structure to maintain focus and sustainability for success

Ensures program deliverables are patient-centered end-to-end solutions that put the patient first, closes consumption gaps, and shift strategy toward diversified recurring revenue activities.

Achieve assigned KSO targets; Build Client relationships; ensure long-term client loyalty; Execute Varian implementation processes; Ensure Client satisfaction; Provide effective company representation; Exemplify Varian professionalism. Represents Varian ethics, values, and business practices with all internal and external constituents.

Work with the MDO APJI sales teams on analysis of existing and new oncology projects to optimize workflow or assist in the development of clinical workflow scope of work documents.

Create and lead project plans, monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed; and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.

Exercise validated project leadership skills combined with a good eye for business and in-depth analytical skills.

During a project, be the primary customer interface and perform activities that ensure alignment to the project deliverables, project gates and governance.

Establishes and implements short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement as required.

Facilitate review sessions with the client and leadership team.

Take part in end-to-end implementation planning, including issue management, communication, and organizational change.

Provide clinical support to the MDO APJI on oncology project analysis and scope design. 

Qualifications & Skills

Preferred Criteria:

Clinical background (i.e, RT(T), RN, MO, CMD, PhD)

Master's Degree (an MBA/MHA)  

Required Criteria:

A minimum of seven years' managerial experience in healthcare administration with expertise in Oncology Operations (i.e., Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, etc.)  

Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations driving strategic and business planning, financial and operational performance 

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a proven track record of collaborative and consensus-building

Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.

7+ years’ experience in oncology operations and program development leading multidisciplinary oncology projects (5+ years required).

Demonstrated project leadership skills with direct responsibility for customer interactions. 

Outstanding and effective social skills, along with good executive presence. Verbal and written; ability to work with remote teams during non-traditional business hours.

Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to identify dependencies, produce project plans and estimates.

Ability to proactively identify and handle project risks.

Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high energy, team-oriented environment.

Ability to multi-task and perform effectively.

Must be able to travel internationally.

Proficient in utilizing business tools such as  E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  

Must have knowledge as it relates to quality, performance improvement, change theory, and health systems.

Proven basic IT knowledge, especially as it relates to interoperability and infrastructure.

Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
