The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for multiple positions to support our government customer located in Ft. Eustis, VA, and other CONUS locations to include, but not limited to, Fort Adam-Gregg, VA; in the areas of TV/Video production, Photography, Information Management and Web Development, Graphics, Large-Format Print Production, Audio visual Presentation Services, and Fabrication. This effort will include the performance of various mission funded and specific baseline Visual Information (VI) services, Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) management, and Department of the Army (DA) photography to the United States Army and various Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Manager
+ Responsible for the performance and success of all work assigned under this effort.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government and with authority to act or make decisions.
+ Must possess a Master’s Degree in multimedia or an information technology related field
+ Must be knowledgeable of providing a full range of multimedia products and services to the customer and have a minimum of six (6) years of financial and/or program management experience.
Production Manager/Onsite Representative
+ Responsible for the supervision, overall administration, and coordination of workflow, priorities of work, and required services.
+ Serve as the point of contact for all creative services, including all details that require approval from the COR/KO.
+ Responsible for keeping the COR informed and updated on all creative services.
+ Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a multimedia or an information technology related field.
+ Must have experience running a similar organization of 20-50 FTE, offering a full range of communications media services to enlist, educate, and empower the warfighters.
Senior Video Producer/Director/Writer
+ Ensure all software and hardware are up to speed with current production methods, as well as obtain the proper certifications, credentials, and training in motion picture equipment operation, audio recording and sound equipment, and scripting and special effects techniques.
+ Responsible for planning and implementing schedules from Pre-Production to final distribution; communicating all pertinent information to the client; and keeping the COR, the KO, and the EMC Multimedia Information Manager up to date on the process.
+ Responsible for keeping each project on budget and on time for both the client and the EMC and be able to manage an overrun with approval.
+ Consult with management and creative staff on technology purchases or leasing, number, and type of production tools available, editing processes, camera packages, and the workflow to provide an original image to final edited file.
+ Must have a proven history producing industry standard, high-caliber productions within the confines of Government austerity measures.
+ Must have expertise in Visual Information and TV/video systems and processes.
+ Must have heightened ability through multiple communication skills in order to deliver the highest caliber of production values to a project.
+ Must have a firm grasp on scriptwriting for content both entertaining and informational.
+ Must have an in-depth knowledge of the production process from acting to sound effects, lens selection to wardrobe, location sound to color correcting, Iand camera tools to music composition, etc.
+ Must be well-versed in creative conceptualization expressed through written communications or storyboard designs as the primary conduit for a client’s project.
+ Must be an accomplished/proven producer, director, and scriptwriter with ten (10) years of experience with the ability to assess and interpret a client’s needs and transform them into a script for final approval.
+ Leadership experience is paramount and cannot be substituted for.
Video Engineer
+ Perform maintenance on VI equipment and systems with an interest in creative/artistic work.
+ Provide video engineering services to include broadcasting, streaming, pre- and post-production video support, editing, technical support, and troubleshooting.
+ Provide video engineering subject matter expertise to maintain the health of the Avid editing systems, the NEXIS, Interplay, Media Central, and servers.
+ Must be able to install, operate, maintain, configure, and support Media Composer systems.
+ Must have the capability to transfer, stream, store, and output audio/video products, to include CD/DVD and other commercial tape products.
+ Must have extensive experience and an established history of working with production facilities as the lead engineer and be vetted to determine the degree of skill to be given this highest level.
+ Must have a thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art Avid editing technology which shall also include Avid NEXIS, Media Composer Nitris DX, Avid Unity, and Nearchive Transfer Manager.
+ Must also possess proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite applications, and Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium and all subsequent versions.
+ Must at a minimum, be an Avid Certified Support Representative with a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Graphics Art Director
+ Provide graphic services and all phases of graphic image production to include, but not limited to, the creation of original graphics using conventional or computer-generated products and delivery of completed project at both on- and offsite locations.
+ Must have the expertise in Visual Information and graphic art and design systems and processes.
+ Must have the ability to lead a group of graphic service specialists, manage workflow priorities, track workflow; produce reports and document policies and processes.
+ Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine-arts, Computer Science, Visual and/or Graphic Arts, or other related field of study.
+ General Animation/3D Graphic Designer
+ Responsible for motion graphics production from concept to completion.
+ Perform production of 2D broadcast elements, modeling of 3D assets, lighting/texturing, render management, effects, and final compositing of all elements through nonlinear storytelling.
+ Provide creative direction for all projects consisting of the visualization of client’s requirements; pre-production consultation; and storyboards and/or draft style frames.
+ Provide clients with graphic designing solutions for effective storytelling using state-of-the- art graphic design technologies.
+ Create high-impact graphics to attract attention and deliver quick, cohesive messages within seconds to viewers.
+ Act as and be a mentor to all other graphic designers.
+ Must have a familiarity with graphic file types, file sizes, resolution, typography, and color theory.
+ Must have the ability to create storyboards and style frames.
+ Must have a keen knowledge of 3D modeling and animation used as a foundation for building and designing 3D logos, environments, and model elements.
+ Must have an established history of working as a graphics designer in prior production facilities and must be presented and vetted.
+ Must have an in-depth knowledge of technical requirements with the highest skills in technical proficiency and workflow in the field of graphic design.
+ Requires the highest degree of innovation to assist the creative staff with their origination of content, both visual and aural.
+ Must be highly attuned to software and hardware upgrades and be a mentor to all other graphic designers.
+ Must have experience in illustration and knowledge of physics and aspects of engineering.
+ Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of motion graphics and animation or a Bachelor’s Degree with five (5) years of work experience.
+ Must possess and demonstrate software proficiency in Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Adobe InDesign.
Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) System Manager
+ Responsible for managing, overseeing, and maintaining the Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) and shall exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain VIOS issues and status of work requests in a manner customers understand.
+ Perform database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, and troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.
+ Support database functions by designing and coding utilities.
+ Interface with personnel in the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) within six (6) months of hire.
+ Must be able to make enhancements to VIOS and be able to identify database requirements by interviewing customers, analyzing applications, programming, evaluating existing systems, and designing proposed systems.
+ Must possess strong interpersonal skills and time management and multitasking skills.
+ Must possess advanced computer knowledge and skills, a good work ethic, and demonstrated problem solving abilities.
+ Must be able to obtain a certification within 6 months of hire in Microsoft SQL, C-Sharp.
+ Must be Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Information Assurance Technical level II (IAT II) certified with at least one (1) baseline certification: CCNA Security; CySA+ **; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE; CND; or SSCP, within 6 months of hire.
+ Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study with five (5) years of work experience in a related field.
Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) System Assistant
+ Assist the VIOS System Manager in managing and maintaining the Visual Information Ordering Site (VIOS) and providing helpdesk support to front-end users.
+ Assist in other areas of the VI/multimedia center.
+ Conduct certification requirements, to include classes, credentialing, and continual certification as required.
+ Must have the ability to work nights and weekends.
+ Must possess strong interpersonal, time management, and multitasking skills.
+ Must possess advanced computer knowledge and skills, a good work ethic, and demonstrated problem solving abilities.
+ Must be able to obtain a certification within six (6) months of hire in Microsoft SQL, C-Sharp.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Expertise in current industry Visual Information methodologies, practices, techniques, skills, and artistic design capabilities.
+ All employees shall possess basic computer skills and be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: operate a computer, use email daily, record time and materials in VIOS, conduct online research, utilize all Army Microsoft 365 applications, create and process travel expense reports, and conduct mandatory/annual online training as required.
+ All employees must exhibit imagination and originality in the field of work such as TV/Video production, Photography, Information Management and Web Development, Graphics, Large-Format Print Production, Audio visual Presentation Services, and Fabrication.
+ Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS within 10 days notice.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
+ Must be U.S. Citizen.
+ Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance within 6 months of hire.
+ Must have an active, valid state Driver’s License.
