JOB TITLE: VAS Associate

Reports to: VAS Specialist

Location: Victorville, CA

 

The VAS Associate is responsible for Pulling work order tasks, putting away products, handling damages, relabeling boxes, repalletizing, labeling, and touching everything before they go out to the floor, put-away, Case-pick, loading and unloading, and other responsibilities related to VAS projects. They need to be capable of training, trouble shooting and keeping their area clean. Areas may include VAS, Quality Inspect, Picking, Loading, Inbound, etc. The VAS Associate will be responsible for completing all tasks assigned to them by the VAS specialist in a timely manner.

VAS Associate Responsibilities: 

Good communication  Trouble shooting skills Must be mobile on the production floor and capable to lifting 35+lbs Responsible for their area’s workload to be completed on time for the day  Bring up issues and concerns that are happening on the floor Be able to collaborate with team members to complete projects by deadline Team player within the shift and between departments Has good attendance and is accountable 

Safety/Housekeeping:

Safety focus – Drive to improve safety performance, ensure safety rules/practices and good housekeeping is followed. Take ownership of housekeeping in work area Ensure that all housekeeping and 6S audits are conducted daily. Target 6S rating to exceed 90%. Maintain clean and orderly work area. Maintain clean and orderly equipment and report any safety concerns on the rides. 

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/Qualifications: 

HS/GED required, and 2 or more years of related experience preferred.  Team oriented, self-motivated, and positive attitude. Good communication both written and verbal. Self-motivated and drive to complete work in a timely manner Requires flexibility to changing priorities based on shipping and production department needs

The California base pay range for this position is from $39,520 to $40,560. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
