About this opportunity:

Looking for candidate who will be Handling VAS Operations and maintaining service availability for VAS nodes with proper work focus for Alarm handling, support Hardware/software/configuration related issues, configuration of all Nodes pertaining to VAS domains and emergency handling/outage Support for VAS and IMS nodes/products/network.

 

What you will do:

Ensuring a smooth operation of the GSM,TCP-IP.Be part of a team managing specific VAS Network activities associated with Mobile GSM(2G,3G,4G) Network.Administrating VAS(SMSC,MMSC,MMSC,VMS) and Support Systems.Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.Planned Maintenance (Health Checks, Backups etc.).Problem Escalations and Follow-ups (CSR).Performance Analysis & Investigation.Interface with Customer, 3PP and Ericsson Departments.Ensure smooth and quality system/service handover from Project.Troubleshooting/Fault finding/RCA in configuration/hardware/software.

 

The skills you bring:

Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience or equivalent in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalentExperience level 2 to 5 years’ experience in of Ericsson VAS products.Having 5 to 8 years of experience as a System Engineer in a mobile network environment.Knowledge of GSM, SS7, Sigtran, TCP/IP, SCCP, SCTP ,IMS and Diameter protocol.Must have Knowledge of Linux, OS- (Linux, Solaris), IP basics, PCRF,  SMSC, and Provisioning  system
