Vascular Sonographer - PRN
Performs ultrasound examinations of the vascular system and associated vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Associate's degree or its equivalent and certification as a Registered vascular Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of vascular ultrasound. vascular Sonographer with technical degree in vascular ultrasound or equivalent experience. Proficient in vascular two dimensional ultrasound. Registry in vascular ultrasound required within 18 months of hire. Registry in vascular Ultrasound is a plus. **Education/Qualifications::** + Associates Degree or Certificate from cardiology ultrasound school + Proficient in vascular ultrasound + Registry in vascular ultrasound within 18 months. + Registry in Vascular Ultrasound (preferred) + American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer [ARDMS] or Cardiovascular Credentialing International [CCI]. + Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification.
