Vascular Surgery - NP or PA - St. Cloud, MN

As a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider with CentraCare, you will be a member of our collaborative team of Physicians and Providers working to deliver comprehensive patient and family centered care from diagnosis to treatment. 

CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center is located at the St. Cloud Hospital.  As the largest and most advanced heart and vascular center in Central Minnesota, we are committed to providing excellent patient care. CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center is equipped with advanced technology and imaging capabilities, including vascular ultrasound, CT scans, MRI and endovascular operating rooms.

 

As a Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider at CentraCare’s Heart & Vascular Center:

Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform physical exams. Develop and implement treatment plans. Assist surgeons in OR/surgical environment. Order and perform routine diagnostic procedures. Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Provide instruction to meet patient needs.

 

Schedule: 

This position will be based in St. Cloud. Includes rotating 4-day work week (7:00am – 5:00pm). 
1:5 Call schedule and Weekend rounding, which is compensated outside of base salary. 
This position is full-time, 1.0 FTE.

 

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

Prior experience in vascular surgery, or other surgical specialties - preferred. New graduates with surgical experience or surgical rotations welcome to apply. 

 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Minnesota
  National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Upon Hire Required
  Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy Upon Hire Required
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) 6 months Required
