This position requires knowledge of and expertise in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures used in evaluating vascular occlusive disease, as well as the ability to objectively identify the presence or absence of disease utilizing a variety of ultrasound and Doppler equipment. The technologist has the ability to modify procedures with the approval of the Supervisor or Medical Director, to meet special circumstances to provide clinically useful information on a cost-effective basis. The technologist will comply with the standards set by the Inter-societal accreditation commission (IAC) for departmental policies and procedures. This position requires shared regional coverage for stand-by and call back on evenings and weekends.
The position location is at Providence Portland Medical Center but has scheduled on call shifts at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center during the week and weekends.

Required Qualifications:
National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire, Or National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire. Oregon Sonographer upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:
