Compassionate Caring is our Calling.** The Echo/Vascular Tech is responsible for performance of ultrasound procedures under the direction of a physician credentialed in interpretation of ultrasound procedures using imaging modalities at a technical level that do not require constant supervision. A sonographer working in CV Services will perform a variety of cardiac and/or vascular procedures. The performance of testing assigned is dependent upon individualized, specialized training and requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. **Education:** + High School Diploma or GED required + Associate’s Degree preferred **Certifications/Experience:** + Requires certification/registry or current registry to one of the following: + CCT (CCI) / RCS (CCI) / RVS (CCI) + ARRT (R) / (CV) + RDCS (ARDMS) / RVT (ARDMS) + Basic Life Support (BLS) required + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS/ALS) preferred + Minimum of 1 year experience in the healthcare field. + Must successfully pass registry in either vascular or echo within one year of hire. **Why should you join us?** Northwest Health is a regional healthcare network composed of three hospitals and an extensive medical group.
