VAT Controversy Analyst (Temporary)
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a VAT Controversy Analyst (Temporary). **What you’ll do:** As a part of the VAT Controversy team, the VAT Controversy Analyst will support the VAT Controversy Lawyer on tasks related with the VAT refund procedures such as: Review the VAT refund claims prepared, support on the preparation of writtens responses to the Information Requests and audits triggered by the SAT, attend notification diligencies, provide support on domicile audits, support on the electronic archiving, among others such as: • Attend notification diligencies. • Provide support by attending the domicile audits performed by the SAT in coordination with the Indirect Tax Team. •Maintain an updated calendar of all open procedures (VAT refunds, audits, etc) • Review the VAT refund claims prepared by VAT CoE and follow-up until their filing • Preparation of written responses to queries issued by the SAT, VAT audits, third parties and the review of the documental support. • Coordinate and collect the necessary information needed to prepare responses to VAT authorities queries. • Ensure electronic archiving of the documents required to attend Tax authorities Audits. • Effective representation at VAT Authorities meetings with the aim of obtain a fast resolution, clarify specific operations or stopping controversy matters before it occurs. **Qualifications:** **Education level required** : Bachelor Degree (Law) **Years and area of experience required** : 2-3 **Technical skills:** Proficient on Tax matters, microsoft excel, intermediate english, problem solving, gathering information and documents, identifying options, time management. **Soft Skills** : Analytical Skills, Verbal and written communication, organized, technical writing, dedication, team building, goal orientation, logical thinking. Developed sense of urgency. Strong analytical capabilities.
