What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a VDC coordinator to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role is responsible for working with construction project teams in the creation of Building Information Models and Virtual Design and Construction methodologies.
What you’ll do:
Duties including:
+ Ensuring integrity of project drawings and maintain privileged information as per customer and company requirements
+ Working with the Project Team to develop accurate and complete modeling drawing sets along with a signed and coordinated Digital Twin
+ Creating construction drawings from scratch when necessary
+ Revising existing construction drawings as needed by the design managers
+ Maintaining a tracking log and storage location of drawings that are created/revised
+ Running the multi trade coordination for clashes to assist project team with the design process
+ Collecting and processing various 2D documentation and 3D models for design coordination
+ Providing insight into new time saving methodologies related to technologies
+ Educating project teams and clients about the benefits of Virtual Design and Construction
+ Understanding, promoting, and implementing Virtual Design and Construction processes and technologies
Who you are:
We are pursuing entry-level candidates with the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture OR Associates Degree
+ Minimum of 3-5+ years of work experience in Revit
+ Knowledge and experience with Autodesk software and cloudshare
+ Additional knowledge and skills with Virtual Design and Construction related softwares
+ Familiar with MEP drafting coordination process with a focus on Electrical underground infrastructure
