Kforce has a client who is looking for a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Developer to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. Summary: This role will be responsible for overseeing the seamless integration of VDC technology into project workflows. As a senior-level position within the VDC group, the VDC Developer will focus on advancing VDC technology and processes, while addressing project-specific challenges. The position involves establishing best practices and standards to ensure successful implementation and support for design and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. Duties Include: * Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of BIM/VDC technologies * Collaborate with VDC and IT teams to define and refine VDC standards and 3D CAD tools * Deploy VDC technologies, including BIM models, across various construction projects * Assist project teams during design and pre-construction phases, ensuring efficient modeling and timely approval of shop drawings by implementing effective VDC procedures * Offer guidance to project teams on processes and methods in accordance with company standards * Oversee the modeling process to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget constraints * Drive the adoption of VDC tools and methodologies as needed * Stay informed on the latest industry trends related to VDC, software, and technology * Assign tasks and oversee development activities for VDC technicians * Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on VDC software and procedures for company staff
