Manage a portfolio of 5500+ VDI user community interfacing with vendor and business teams
Architecting, designing and development of Citrix Virtualization technologies (Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler etc.)
Identify, assess, and solve complex business and IT problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, and apply DevOps solutions.
Identify opportunities for automation (scripting), lead DevOps capability assessment, improve visibility across CI/CD, define transformation & create road maps.
Create and manage the end-to-end automation of VDI provisioning and deletion process via scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
Create and manage the VDI usage audit process via PowerShell scripting and take corrective actions to save license costs
Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies based on organizational needs.
Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and performance through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Lead training and workshops on DevOps best practices and toolsets for internal teams.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and incorporate relevant innovations into the company’s processes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent education
Citrix certified with 12+ years of experience in designing, installing, configuring, managing and troubleshooting Citrix farms
Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Secure gateway/Web Interface/NetScaler
Detailed knowledge of network management software and techniques including Active Directory, domain and group policies and virtualization
Demonstrated understanding and implementation of user authentication and authorization tools between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Strong expertise on CI/CD tools like Jenkins
Strong expertise on scripting languages like Python and PowerShell scripting
Strong expertise on DevOps infrastructure tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Possess sound knowledge on Cloud hosted VDI solutions
Experience managing vendor relationships
Creating and virtualizing different types of XenDesktop (pooled, random, dedicated etc.) as per the business requirement.
Prepare detailed technical documentation such as designs, build procedures and technical support guidelines.
Plan and coordinate migrations and updating security patches
Ensure VDI environment is Information Security Policy (ISP) compliant to mitigate risk to our business.
Manage capacity and demand of Citrix infrastructure and provide inputs to management
Provide consulting to prospective customers about the Citrix solutions
Manage VDI Client images
Perform technical researches on the new Virtualization technologies, prepare white paper and present it to management
Gather region specific requirements and setup Proof of Concept(POC) infrastructure
Advanced level troubleshooting for escalated and recurring issues.
