As a VDI Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared VDI Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.

Act as SME in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization.

System design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement.

Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.

Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.

Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.

Offer endpoint support on Virtual Desktop related issues and troubleshooting.

Maintain advanced knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.

Operate across multiple complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.

Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines.

Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.



Qualifications:

Required: 

An active TS/SCI clearance.

Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.

7+ years of experience with BS degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.

Experience with:

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later

Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)

Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)

Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX

Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)

Citrix App Layering

Liquidware Profile Unity

Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)


Desired:

Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.

Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).

System Center Virtual Machine Manager/VMware vCenter 6.7.

Active Directory/ Group Policies.

Home Directory and Profile management Support Services.

Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,700 - $165,300
