We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the life sciences domain, particularly in GxP-regulated environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating agile processes and ensuring successful project delivery within our teams. Experience with Jira and Confluence is essential, and knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be an added advantage.

Candidate must be local to Boston and be able to go into office (hybrid)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Act as a Scrum Master for multiple agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.).
• Lead agile practices and guide teams in adhering to agile principles, helping to foster a collaborative and productive working environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, compliance, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with GxP regulations and guidelines, promoting best practices in a regulated environment.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and delivery expectations.
• Track and report on sprint progress, key metrics, and team performance to ensure continuous improvement.
• Utilize Jira to manage and track user stories, tasks, and project progress. Set up and maintain Confluence pages for team collaboration and documentation.
• Ensure alignment between technical teams and business units, helping to prioritize and address project requirements effectively.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on agile methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and mitigate risks, resolve impediments, and ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the integration and compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) within the agile framework.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a focus on the life sciences industry.
• Proven experience working in GxP-regulated environments is mandatory.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be highly preferred. Veeva QMS or Trackwise experience will be a plus
• Solid understanding of the life sciences domain, including regulatory requirements and compliance standards (FDA, EMA, etc.).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to QMS in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
• Experience in implementing or supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) in an agile environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and coaching teams in agile transformations.
• Familiarity with other agile tools and frameworks (Kanban, SAFe, etc.).

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 - $161,600.
